TERMS AND CONDITIONS (報名須知及守則)

Before enrolling in the course, I am aware of the course information, including course guideline, fees, information on the principal and teachers and refund policies and procedures. If the school fails to operate the course as scheduled, the school will give me a full or partial refund according to the refund policies. The enrolled course is as below:

1.    Fees paid is not refundable unless the enrolled course is canceled by The Spanish Academy Ltd. Classes will not be booked until the corresponding payment is settled. (If payment is made through bank transfer, the corresponding payslip shall be sent to The Spanish Academy prior to the first class booking)

2.     If the student arrives late to a scheduled class, the class will finish at the scheduled original time and cannot be extended for any reason. If the student is 30 mins late, the class will be canceled with no refund or make up class.

3.     A private class can be rescheduled/canceled by a student by notifying The Spanish Academy Ltd Administration, not the teachers, before 6pm of the previous day. If not, the class will be counted as taught.
If the student is sick, 2 hours notification in advance is required with doctor certificate. Otherwise missed lessons will be counted as taught.

4.     There is no make-up, discount or refund on any missed class in the group courses.

5.     Classes can only be officially canceled by The Spanish Academy Ltd (i.e. Teacher’s sickness). Teachers may change at some point. No class on public holidays.

6.     In the unlikely event that a group class does not reach a minimum number of students, the duration of the class might be reduced or the group might be canceled by The Spanish Academy Ltd. In the last case students will be fully refunded.

7.   In the event of Typhoon signal number 8 or Black Storm signal, the class will be canceled and course will run for an extra week in order to make up for the canceled class due to the bad weather event. There will be no refund as a consequence of any other weather events.

8.   Any change of schedule or length of a private lesson must be confirmed with the admin and not with the teachers.

9.   For the private lessons, every 10 hours must be completed within 4 months.

10.   I hereby authorize The Spanish Academy Ltd to use photographs or videos of me or my child for educational or promotional purpose in any type of media, including its website. I understand and agree that I will not receive any compensation in any form whatsoever for providing this authorization.
